Determine your Budget
A crucial part of buying custom built Welcome Furniture is knowing your financial limits for the project. Custom desks can range anywhere from $2500 to upwards of $20,000 so knowing your budget can help eliminate viewing designs that are out of reach. If you have a budget lower than $2500 you might be better off checking out our prefabricated furniture line.
Identify the space
Knowing the space we have to work within will help us design a desk that is a perfect fit. We can work from photographs of your area or you can bring us to your location to assess your needs in person.
Identify finishes and features
There are many options to consider when designing your new desk. The beauty of designing a custom welcome desk is that you can have the desk designed perfectly to fit your specific needs. For example: Does it need to have wheels? Do you need cabinet space and drawers and if so do you want them to lock? Do you want laminate countertops or specialty stone like granite or quartz? Will your desk need power? Do you have equipment that needs to be stored in specific places like printers, computers, laptops or iPads? Do you want a laminated desk or do you want stained wood? Are there colors that you need to match exactly? Do you need to run cables through the inside of your desk. Do you want a single level desk or multiple tiers?
Once we have determined that your budget qualifies for a custom built desk, where your desk will be placed and gone over all the details of your new welcome center we will open the creative flood gates. We will build a 3D rendering of your new desk for your approval. This process can take a few days. We will present the design to you and go over any adjustments that need to be made before going into production.
Payment and Build
Once payment is received it will take approximately four to six weeks to complete your desk. Depending on where you are located we will either crate your desk up and ship it to you (The Contiguous United States Only) or we will deliver it to you locally in the Dallas/FortWorth Metroplex.
